Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed when you use the Presh mobile app ("Presh"). Presh allows you to find friends and have short audio calls with them.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for the processing of personal data is:
Otteh Edubioc/o CREON CoSpace
Methfesselstr. 43
10965 Berlin
Germany
Email: nopreshapp@gmail.com
2. Information We Process
Depending on how you use Presh, we may process the following information:
- your phone number;
- your display name;
- your optional profile picture;
- your Presh user ID and technical account identifiers;
- your contacts and contact relationships as described below;
- information about invitations you send or receive;
- call information such as participants, call status, and start and end times;
- notification settings and push notification identifiers;
- device, app, connection, and technical log information;
- information necessary to provide availability and calling features.
We do not record or store the audio content of your calls.
3. Account and Authentication
Presh uses your phone number to create and authenticate your account.
Authentication is provided using Firebase Authentication, a service provided by Google. Google may process your phone number, IP address, device information, and technical identifiers in connection with authentication.
We process this information because it is necessary to create and provide your Presh account and the services you request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
4. Contacts and Finding Friends
If you choose to use contact discovery, Presh asks for permission to access the contacts stored on your device.
Phone numbers from your contacts are normalised and converted into cryptographic comparison values so that Presh can determine which of your contacts already use Presh. Names and other address-book information are not required for this automated matching process.
Contact access is optional and only occurs after you grant permission through your device.
Where accessing information stored on your device requires consent under Section 25 TDDDG, we rely on the permission you provide for this purpose.
You can withdraw contact permission at any time through your device settings.
Invitations
If you invite someone who does not yet use Presh, we may temporarily process their phone number and information relating to the invitation.
This information is used only to provide the invitation and enable the invited person to connect with you. Presh does not use invited persons' contact information for unrelated marketing.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in providing a personal invitation and contact function.
5. Profile Pictures
If you choose to upload a profile picture, it is stored using Firebase Cloud Storage and may be shown to your Presh contacts.
Uploading a profile picture is optional.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR because the processing is necessary to provide the feature you requested.
6. Audio Calls
Presh uses Stream to provide real-time audio calls.
For this purpose, Stream may process information including:
- your Presh user ID and display name;
- call and participant identifiers;
- device and connection information; and
- audio data while a call is taking place.
Presh does not record calls and does not store the audio content of your conversations.
Microphone access only occurs after you grant the corresponding device permission.
The legal basis for providing calls is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
7. Push Notifications
Presh uses OneSignal to provide notifications, including incoming-call and contact notifications.
For this purpose, OneSignal may process information such as:
- your Presh user identifier;
- device and push notification identifiers;
- IP address;
- device type and operating system;
- app version, language, and time zone; and
- information about notification delivery and interaction.
Push notifications are optional and require permission through your device.
You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.
8. Analytics
We may use Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics to understand how Presh is used and improve the app.
Analytics may include information about app usage, screens or features used, device and app information, technical identifiers, and general information about calls such as whether a call was successfully established and its duration.
We do not send the content of audio calls to analytics services.
Where legally required, analytics is activated only after you have provided consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
If analytics is not activated in your version of Presh, no analytics data is collected through Firebase Analytics.
